Saint Matthew's Thrift Shop
If you live in or near Jamestown, you probably know about Saint Matthew's Thrift Shop. This extremely popular, volunteer-run shop is a bargain hunter's dream. The Thrift Shop is open Saturday mornings from 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. and pretty much has it all: clothing, books, jewelry, children's toys, household items, furnishings, electronics. Thrift Shop proceeds support the mission and ministry of Saint Matthew's.
Our Thrift Shop is also an ideal place to donate items that you no longer need. What we aren't able to sell we try to donate to organizations or individuals in need. We appreciate your donations and we kindly ask that you please bring them only on Saturdays when the shop is open from 9am - 12pm. We will provide you with a donation form for tax purposes at your request.
There have been a number of changes we've implemented to maintain safety at this time. Masks are required and we ask that you use hand sanitizer. (we have some!) Please maintain 6' apart whenever possible and follow the traffic pattern indicated in the halls. Our bathrooms are closed and clothes can not be tried on at this time. We accept cash payment (exact change, please) or PayPal is also available.
*Please note: We cannot take large furniture, mattresses, upholstered furniture or items regulated by safety codes such as car seats, cribs or life jackets. Donated items must be clean and unbroken. PLEASE do not leave items outside.
For further information please feel free to contact the parish office at 401-423-1762 or text your Thrift Shop questions to 401-261-2632.
