In lieu of a traditional Lent Study, all Episcopalians have been invited to participate in "The Good Book Club", a church-wide reading of the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts during the seasons of Lent and Easter, sponsored by Forward Movement.

Using Forward Movement's  schedule of daily readings, participants are invited to start reading Luke this Sunday, February 11 and read a section of Luke's Gospel every day through the season of Lent. The entire season of Easter will be devoted to daily readings from the Book of Acts.

During this time the daily reflections in Forward Day by Day will be devoted to the scheduled readings. Forward Day by Day booklets can be found on the table in the back of the church, or you can find the daily reflections on the Forward Day by Day website.

The Living Church will be providing some helpful commentary on the readings on their blog Covenant.

In addition, Kevin will be sending out some emails along the way that will provide some study tips and reflections on the readings.  If you're not already signed up to receive emails from Saint Matthew's, you may do so my clicking on the button below.
